My first post!! I feel like this has been a very long time coming….
I’m going to start with 5 things that I’m loving this month (slightly late into March but trust me, I was loving them on the 1st too!)
No1: paisley pyjamas
I know these are everywhere at the moment, but I love the idea of wearing matching top and trousers….it feels like an outfit to roll around and have fun in. My favourite by far were on JW Anderson‘s SS12 show at LFW….
No 2: Rhubarb
Or more specifically, rhubarb G&Ts from Bob Bob Ricard
Going in my veg patch, in some rhubarb preserve and definitely into cocktail menus near you….I predict rhubarb is this year’s elderflower
No 3: Jellyfish love
I came across these beauties while browsing one of my new favourite webfinds Spoonflower, a fabulous US based fabric design and printing company which allows you to upload your own graphics, arrange using their software to design yor own textiles, then allows you to purchase the printed fabric in any material. Genius!
No 4: Day-Glo beige (aka neon pastels)
I am a real sucker for a sherbert shade, but my peachy eye was particularly caught by the addition of the lurid neons in these interiors from Aussie magazine Home Life
No 5: Knitted stools
Take a cold, hard, smooth stool = blah blah ouch, and knit it a tea cosy = silly, silly, soft
I have a massive craft-crush on Dottie Angel from the supercool (or in her words, peachy) blog, so of course I felt she had to feature in my first post:
