Tout à propos de lapins

I absolutely love rabbits, I always have. I came up with the idea of a house rabbit when I was very young (I’m not saying I ‘invented’ house rabbits, just came to the conclusion of my own accord that having a small cotton tail lolloping round the house would be kind of amazing). Aside from a little local kitteh that sometimes pays me and my boyf a visit, I am currently pet-less, so while I dream of a French gite one day filled with mini lop-eared bunnies (and goats, chickens and a pair of donkeys), I shall make-do with coveting all manner of rabbit related curios…..

Hammade is a London based fabric, pottery and print company which capture unexpected moments in the lives on a rabbit, a pig and a horse. Designer Jo grew up on a farm with a pet pig before training as a fine artist. I love the bunny tea towel most of all….

Beautiful wall decals from French label Mimi’lou, created in 2005 by Miriam Derville, an ex- Artistic Director with a very chic CV, having worked with Givenchy, Lacoste and Guerlain before turning her hand to bags, lamps, cushions and some really gorgeous bed linen

No bunny themed post would be complete without a bit of rabbit food (almost). I have yet to make this myself, but it is inspired by my wonderfully green-fingered Mamma reallynicetime, to use the abundance of carrots and courgettes usually found popping up in her garden come summer….carrot and courgette cake.
